Can Casas

This building was constructed in the beginning of the 20th century, within the Late Modernist period. Elements such as the stained glass windows, the painted ceramics and the forging and woodwork of the balconies are characteristic of this style. The Casas family worked in the chocolate and wax industry. Thus, on the ground floor of the building, they opened a shop to sell chocolate and coffee. Later on, it was turned into a chemist, although the Modernist elements were preserved.
