Castle of Dosquers

The first documented reference we have of the castle of Dosquers dates back to the 13thcentury, although, due to its deteriorated state, it is difficult to say the phases in which the building was constructed. Its remains indicate us that, long ago, this building had been an important stronghold. Today, there are some walls left next to the noon wall and, on the inside, there are two rocks over three metres high. These rocks, (quers) named the castle and, at the same time, divided it into two parts. On the noon wall, we can also find a wall with a loophole made of stone of about 20 centimetres high and 25 centimetres long.
