Old bridge over ther river Toronell

The bridge over the river Toronell, from which only some remains are left, was Gothic style and built between 14th and 15th centuries. The stone bridge stood still until the floods on 3rd April 1970 took a great part of it. The present metallic bridge was built on its remains. It is a perfect spot to admire the basaltic scarp, on which Castellfollit de la Roca is settled.
