Passeig and Sant Roc bridge

Description

The arrival of the train in Olot in the year 1911 changed the city's economy, society and geography. Firstly, a train station was built, which led to the creation of a new area which nowadays is known as “the station quarter”. Close by, following the river Fluvià, there are the Passeig and Sant Roc bridge. A great part of the construction compound was desgined by Josep Berga i Boix. This area has lately experienced a huge increase of visitors, since the old railway has been turned into a green area exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists.
