Passeig de Barcelona is a picturesque location that enables visitors to enjoy the residential area of the Malagrida expansion district. One building is particularly noteworthy, the Malagrida Tower, currently owned by the City Council and used as a youth hostel.The Pons i Tusquets house is also of great interest. It is a single family building dating from 1916-17 designed by Albert Blasco Ochoa, who was the president of Catalonia Association of Architects. This construction can be related to the Secession movement, which ithe Catalan architecture found interesting at the beginning of the 20th century.
