Rossolada path – Toronell vegetable gardens

Description

The Rossolada path was probably part of the ancient Roman Road, which separated from the Via Augusta to go up Capsacosta hill and cross the Pyrenees. This path connects the village of Castellfollit de la Roca, located on top of the scarp, with the vegetable gardens next to the river Toronell. The beauty and singularity of the spot must be noted. Basaltic stone was used to build walls, stairs and paths.
