Description

Sant Abdó and Sant Senén chapels form a small temple which consists of a single nave with two parts added on each side with barrel vaults and a voussoired. The roof of the apse, nowadays made of tiles, still has the original stones used when it was built. It was built in 1417 and dedicated to Sant Abdó and Sant Senén, patrons of the farmers, also known as Sant Nin and Sant Non, since in Santa Pau there was the tradition to bless their own lands and those of their neighbours. Its festival is on the 30th of July and each year people gather, the previous Saturday. They celebrate a mass and then they all eat together. From the centre of the village you can get there on foot. There is a 250 metres slope and the walk approximately lasts one hour.
