Sant Fruitós d’Ossinyà curch

Description

Sant Fruitós church is documented for the first time in the year 977, although the building dates from the 12th century. It was also modified in the 17th and 18th centuries and completely restored in 1996. It is a Romanesque building which consists of a single nave with a semi-circular apse to the east. On the noon wall there is the entrance door, with a lintel and a tympanum, with two arches, following the architectural characteristics of the 12th and 13thcenturies. The belfry, which is now bricked up, stands on the west wall and later, it was changed giving way to convert it into a square tower.
