Sant Miquel de Pineda

The church of Sant Miquel de Pineda dates from the 12th century. It is located on the left side of the Brugent river, in the Vall d'Hostoles. It is a single-nave Romanesque temple with chapels added later, in 1812. The apse is raised and vaulted. The bell tower is a tower and the door faces west. At the back is a small cemetery. The church was part of the territory of the Hostoles castle and in the 17th century it belonged to the Royal Batllia of Hostoles.
