Santa Maria del Freixe church

Santa Maria del Freixe is a small and simple building with a rectangular nave and a single apse with a window. According to the experts, it may have been built around the 10th century. The belfry was turned into a tower and covered with a double sided roof. This reform took place when the sacristy was added. These days, the entrance door is located on the west façade. Above the door there is a window in the shape of a Greek cross. The presbytery has a barrel vault. This church is located in the south of the municipality, on top of the Finestres range.
