The royal road from Vic to Olot

Description

The royal road connecting Vic and Olot is a Medieval transport link. Apparently, its main purpose was to provide wood to Barcelona city. This royal road goes by Sant Jaume path, a cultural and pilgrimage route which connects the Iberian Peninsula end-to-end, from the Cap de Creus until Santiago de Compostela, where the relics of Santiago apostole are preserved. The royal road connecting Vic and Olot is 44 km long and still has the old stone pavement, as well as severl remarkable constructions, such as the Hostalot bridge.
