Sant Andreu de Socarrats church

Less than a kilometre from Llocalou, in the direction of L'Hostalnou, there is a short paved path leading to Sant Andreu de Socarrats. Sant Andreu de Socarrats church has been modified over the years. The original structure had a single nave bounded by a semi-circular apse. After several reforms, the church now has a Greek cross floor plan. The nave has a slightly pointed barrel vault and is bounded by a semi-circular apse. The original door and windows were removed, due to a late modification. Therefore, the apse is the only original element left. However, it does not have enough features for us to tell its construction date.
