Sant Martí de Dosquers church

Sant Martí de Dosquers church, like many other rural churches, has been enlarged and modified over time. Despite these alterations, we can still appreciate its original features: the rectangular nave and the semi-circular apse in the east. The entrance door is formed by four gradation arches, a lintel and a tympanum. You can access the church through a decorated stairway. Despite the alterations, it is as homogeneous as the rest of the Romanesque churches of La Garrotxa and this is why we can assume it dates from the 12th century. In the Museu countyl de Banyoles there is a capital original of this church with a symmetrical decoration on both sides.
