Chapel of Sant Sebastià

In 1516 permission was requested before the priest to build the chapel of Sant Sebastià. The dedication to the saint was owed to its anti-pestiferous characteristics during a time of widespread epidemics. Beside Saint Roch, Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian, it was normal to find the chapels with the same dedication on the Royal Roads or the entrances and exits to the towns.
